BBACT Useful Documentation

There are numerous sources of advice to assist new business start-ups and within these pages, we have tried to steer readers to some of them. However, we recognise that not all advice is easily accessible and it may not cover everything you need to know so we have developed a series of documents to guide you as you take this exciting new step.

"So you think you want to start your own Business" looks at the benefits and pitfalls of self-employment and gives you a brief overview of some of the things you will need to consider and other organisations you can approach for assistance and advice.

"Take a look at Yourself" is a self-assessment tool that will give you an opportunity to find out whether self-employment is really for you.

Our "Business Start-up advisor" provides a more detailed description of the process involved in planning and developing a new enterprise and endeavours to pull together some of the most useful information in the hope that it may make the journey into business a little easier.

To read the documents, you can either follow the links below which will open up a new window in your web browser where you can read them in HTML or you can contact us and request copies in Microsoft Word.
